Data Protection Complaints Process

Gadgetly is a trading name of Mad Tech Heads Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 14440918), the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC131659.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, we want to hear from you. This page explains how to raise a complaint, what we will do, and what you can do if you are still not happy.
1. How to Raise a Complaint

To help us look into your complaint quickly, please tell us:
- your name and the best way to reach you;
- what happened and the dates involved, as far as you can recall;
- any order references, email addresses or account details connected to the issue;
- what you would like us to do to put things right.
2. What Happens Next
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receiving it.
- We will investigate what happened, which may involve asking you for more information.
- We will send you a full written response within 30 calendar days. If the matter is complex and we need longer, we will let you know and keep you updated.
- Where we have got something wrong, we will explain how we are putting it right and what we are doing to prevent it happening again.
3. If You Are Not Satisfied
If you are unhappy with our response, or with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent data protection regulator. You can contact the ICO at any time — you do not have to wait for us to respond first — though we would welcome the opportunity to resolve your concerns directly.

5. Your Other Rights Under UK GDPR
Separately from making a complaint, you have a number of rights over your personal data. You have the right to:

- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erase your data in certain circumstances (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to how we process your data;
- data portability — to receive your data in a portable format or have it transferred.
